Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup
    butter or margarine (125 mL)
  • 1/2 cup
    HERSHEY'S Cocoa (125 mL)
  • 3/4 cup
    granulated sugar (175 mL)
  • 1/2 cup
    evaporated milk or light cream (5%) (125 mL)
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract (5 mL)
  • Assorted fondue dippers: pound cake, marshmallows, cherries, grapes, mandarin orange segments, pineapple chunks, strawberries, etc.

Melt butter in a small saucepan set over low heat. Remove from heat; immediately stir in cocoa. Add sugar and evaporated milk.

Return saucepan to low heat; cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and heated through. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Fondue will thicken slightly as it cools. Serve warm with assorted fondue dippers.
