We’re proud to offer The Hershey Company’s signature candy in so many ways, especially because it’s where our story begins. Milton S. Hershey sold the first HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate Bar in 1900 and in 1910 began offering public tours of the HERSHEY’S Chocolate Factory. When they became so popular that the demand warranted a visitor’s center, HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD was born!

Since opening in 1973, we’ve made it our mission to carry on Mr. Hershey’s legacy in every facet of your visit. Where else can you make your own HERSHEY’S Chocolate Bar, sip a world-famous milkshake, and dig into a life-sized candy bar, all in one place?

It’s on our free HERSHEY’S Chocolate Tour that you’ll experience firsthand the chocolate-making story. Did you know that Mr. Hershey chose central Pennsylvania for his factory due in part to its access to farm fresh milk? It’s the signature ingredient that gives HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate its distinctive taste.

Celebrate that milk, we do! Depart the ride and you’ll find a variety of adorable cow mementos to remind you of the singing crew from the tour. And the varieties of HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate Bars are endless, from miniature to king size to the World’s Largest HERSHEY’S Chocolate Bar weighing in at 5 pounds! 

While milk chocolate originally set the bar, flavor innovations have never stopped – and we’ve got them all. From the favorite HERSHEY’S GOLDEN ALMOND Bar to the creamy HERSHEY’S COOKIES ‘N’ CRÈME Bar to newer creations like HERSHEY’S Ice Cream Shoppe Bars, the possibilities are endless.
